Spilo’s Agri Weave® is the market leader in weed growth prevention. The built-in strength and proprietary features of the fabric give it outstanding durability and a high resistance to extreme weather conditions and UV.
Until recently, the only two ways, other than manual labour, to control weed growth has been with plastic sheeting or the use of chemicals. Chemicals are harmful to the environment and in some cases are harmful to the crops themselves. A disadvantage of plastic sheeting is that it breaks up easily in windy or rainy conditions. Another disadvantage is the constant maintenance and replacement required in high traffic areas. Sheet plastic is also impermeable, causing water build-up (ponding) on top of the plastic, and root rot underneath. Storage & Rollout
Agri Weave® rolls are to be stored away from UV exposure, in a cool, dry place before rolling out to mitigate excessive shrinking of the product before installation.
