Shadecloth
Shadecloth
Spilo manufactures UV-stabilised high density polyethylene (HDPE) shadecloth in a range of colours to suit the end-use applications and/or customer requirements. Due to its tightly woven construction, it is effectively a sun and wind blockout and is already employed extensively as shading for carports.
Applications include: shadecloth, carports, vehicle covers.
Game Capture Fencing
Spilo manufactures high density polyethylene (HDPE) game capture fencing of similar colouring to the local environment (light green and sand). The inability of the animals to perceive even shadows beyond the curtains ensures that they are herded with minimal stress into the desired bomas or trucks. Our game fencing contains additional UV stabilisers to ensure that our product can withstand the harsh UV exposure experienced in the southern hemisphere as well as the temperature fluctuations experienced with this application.
Applications include: Game capture fencing, shadecloth in safari camps and on wildlife reserves.

Spilo's quality management system is being certified by the most comprehensive standards set by the International Organisation for Standardisation EN ISO 9001:2008. This means that our quality management system has been rolled out to all levels within our organisation.
Spilo Geotextiles are CE marked under the EU Construction Products Directive. CE marking certifies that Spilo’s quality management system (EN ISO 9001:2008) complies with the EN standards. Spilo’s Geotextiles are submitted to production control and external testing by accredited test institutes in accordance with the EN standards. Spilo's environmental policy is to develop, produce and supply environmentally responsible products. To reduce consumption of energy, to use raw materials sustainably and to minimise the generation of waste are our main focus areas.
