With over 20 years worth of experience in recycling products in-house, we’ve gained a deep technical understanding of what works best, whilst meeting the highest specification standards. Our recycled products are tested for MFI and sorted according to colour and waste type. We sell our finished recycled products to agents as well as directly to manufacturers and other facilities.

Recycling Solutions

HDPE
HDPE in Injection Grade, Extrusion Grade and Blow Moulding Grade
Spilo manufactures UV-stabilised high density polyethylene (HDPE)
Applications include: shadecloth, carports, vehicle covers.
PP
Polyprop in Injection and Extrusion Grade. Spilo manufactures polypropylene.
Applications include: Game capture fencing, shadecloth in safari camps and on wildlife reserves.
Shredding
Spilo’s recycling facility has a large shredder, capable of shredding.
Pelletising
Spilo makes use of the world-class Erema recycling plant for converting soft waste into high quality pellet form.

Spilo’s quality management system is certified in accordance with the most comprehensive standards set by the International Organisation for Standardisation EN ISO 9001:2008. This means that our quality management system has been rolled out to all levels within our organisation.
Spilo Geotextiles are CE marked under the EU Construction Products Directive. CE marking certifies that Spilo’s quality management system (EN ISO 9001:2008) complies with the EN standards. Spilo’s Geotextiles are submitted to production control and external testing by accredited test institutes in accordance with the EN standards. Spilo's environmental policy is to develop, produce and supply environmentally responsible products. To reduce consumption of energy, to use raw materials sustainably and to minimise the generation of waste are our main focus areas.
